Jammu & Kashmir Education Analysis.

Overview

This project is a multi-year data analysis of the education system in Jammu & Kashmir, covering the period from 2022 to 2026.

The goal was to analyze how students transition from school (Class 10th and 12th) to higher education, while also studying gender balance, institutional capacity, and pass rates.

Problem

Educational data is often fragmented across multiple sources, making it difficult to:

• track student progression across levels
• understand enrollment trends
• evaluate gender balance and institutional capacity

Without structured analysis, identifying systemic gaps becomes challenging.

Approach

The project involved collecting and organizing data from multiple sources, followed by analysis using Excel and Python.

The workflow included:

• data cleaning and consolidation
• multi-year trend analysis
• visual representation of key transitions

A Looker Studio report and a structured PDF report were created to present insights in an accessible format.
